Xevion Baptiste

Xevion Baptiste is a forward-thinking policy expert with a decade of experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Emerging Tech Initiatives at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Xevion focuses on building and managing relationships to promote equitable economic growth.

She is recognized for her strategic thinking, understanding of stakeholder interests, and the business implications of policy decisions.

Previously, Xevion was the Chief of Staff at the Black Economic Alliance, overseeing the organization's policy agenda and executing the first Presidential Candidates Forum on Black economic issues.

With a background that includes offering strategic advice to start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, she has held roles at American Express and Univision Communications Inc., and interned at the White House for the National Economic Council.

Xevion holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University, specializing in Business and Government Policy, and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter, City University of New York.
