Xavier Prens is a seasoned professional and a former diplomat with a keen focus on advocating for issues related to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) such as sustainable development, 'de-risking', financial inclusion, renewable energy, investment promotion, institutional capacity building, ocean conservation, and the 'Blue Economy'.

With a strong track record in building networks and coalitions, Xavier excels in managing outreach efforts to both local and international partners effectively.

He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Public Administration from Leiden University and has studied at various prestigious institutions including Klasje BZ, Aloysius College, and Universidat Autonoma de Barcelona.
