Xavier Henderson
Xavier Henderson is an accomplished professional with an extensive background in education and community organizing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University. Henderson has established himself as a leader in the community, having worked as the Director of Strategy at For Oak Cliff, a former Fellow at Echoing Green, and a former Manager of Collective Leadership at Teach For America. His experience also includes working as a Community Organizing Fellow for The Commit! Partnership, a Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Summer Institute Facilitator for Teach For America, and a Corps Member and History Through Writing Lead Teacher for the same organization.
Additionally, Henderson has previous professional experience in internet marketing as a technical writer at Texas Instruments and as a Quality Control Intern and Human Resources Intern at Safran. Throughout his career, Henderson has demonstrated a keen ability to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and has worked with various organizations to develop leadership programs that help empower underrepresented groups.
