Wyatt Smith

Wyatt Smith is the Founder and CEO of UpSmith, a technology company dedicated to addressing the skilled worker crisis in the United States. UpSmith aims to enhance workforce productivity in skilled trades by utilizing a technology platform that integrates with employers' existing systems to automate productivity analytics and streamline operations. The company's flagship product, called Boost, gamifies technician experiences to improve engagement and efficiency.12

Before founding UpSmith in November 2021, Wyatt held significant roles in various organizations. He was the Head of Business Development for Uber Elevate, where he played a crucial role in securing over $5 billion in investments and forming strategic partnerships within the air mobility sector. His career also includes consulting at McKinsey & Company and teaching as part of Teach for America, where he received the Sue Lehmann Award as a national teacher of the year.124

Wyatt holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human & Organizational Development and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, he was actively involved as the student body president and served on the Board of Trust as a young alumni trustee.123
