Wouter Van Eetvelde

Wouter Van Eetvelde is a seasoned technology leader with a passion for working in technology-based startups and scale-ups that operate on a global level. With postgraduate studies in Business Administration from KU Leuven and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Ghent, Van Eetvelde has a deep understanding of software engineering, cloud technologies, big data and multi-site, multi-timezone team management.

Van Eetvelde has over two decades of experience and has worked with multiple successful tech companies in various capacities. He was formerly the Vice President of Software Engineering at Q-layer (acquired by Sun Microsystems), Symantec, and Western Digital. Additionally, he was also the founder and COO of Dedigate (acquired by Verizon) and the Vice President of Software Engineering and founder of Amplidata (acquired by Western Digital).

Currently, Van Eetvelde is the VP of Enterprise Services at Waylay, where he leads a team of professionals in building and delivering innovative, value-driven solutions for customers. He is hands-on with the technology and enjoys building teams of A-players who create the intellectual property to convince customers, VCs, and acquirers.

Van Eetvelde's experience includes customer success, software development, support & professional services, and more. He appreciates interactions with customers in pre- and post-sales settings, as well as under critical conditions.
