I lectured mobile media development, Content Management Systems (with a strong focus on the Drupal CMS) and New Media at the Information Managament & Multimedia (IM) programme at Thomas More in Mechelen.

I was involved in projects with a focus on the evolution and use of new media in relation to subjects as knowledge management, citizen participation, community building, social inclusion, culture, tourism and more. 

Most of the research projects I worked on had a practical element but very well grounded in research, allowing me to keep track of both 'dry' and more fundamental research as well as applying it to practical implementations.
