Win Cowger

Win Cowger is a dedicated PhD candidate and NSF graduate research fellow at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on studying plastic pollution in the environment.

He is passionate about identifying solutions to plastic pollution and evaluating their effectiveness.

Win collaborates with various organizations such as nonprofit groups, government agencies, and academics to translate scientific research into practical solutions.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Iowa State University, an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Hawkeye Community College, and pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science at the University of California, Riverside.

Prior to his current academic pursuits, he has held roles at organizations like Plant Prudent LLC, Prudenterra, Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, and Iowa State University.
