Willie Yao is currently running engineering for Notion's Scale organization, which is responsible for scaling Notion to meet the needs of their next millions of users.1 He oversees infrastructure, enterprise, API, platform teams, and the India engineering site.1
Yao joined Notion in September 2021, initially as Engineering Manager for Infrastructure.1 He then became Head of Infrastructure in January 2022, managing and building the Infrastructure team, including developer experience, core backend systems, cloud infrastructure, security, trust, and privacy.1
