Willie Gould

Willie Gould is an accomplished educator with a passion for fostering literacy and performing arts excellence among young adults. Gould gained expertise in English language arts and teacher education through studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he earned a Master of Education degree. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature, with an emphasis on literature and English Language studies, from Wesleyan University.

Gould has held several leadership and teaching roles throughout his career. He has served as a Campus Director at Democracy Prep Public Schools, where he oversaw academic programming and initiatives aimed at promoting student development and engagement. Additionally, Gould has worked as a Founding Literacy and Performing Arts Teacher, working with young adults to help build literacy skills and develop a love for the arts. He was also selected for a LeaderU Fellowship at Democracy Prep Public Schools, where he gained valuable experience in building leadership skills and developing innovative approaches to student learning.
