William Lavin

William Paul Lavin, CFRE, is a highly accomplished professional in the field of fundraising and philanthropy.

He holds a BA in Political Science from Providence College, a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University, and an M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.

With a rich educational background, William has successfully put his knowledge into practice through various leadership roles in prominent organizations.

Currently, he serves as the President of The Murdock-Thompson Center for Teachers, where his expertise in fundraising plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission.

Prior to his current role, William held the position of Associate Director of Development at Tufts University, demonstrating his ability to excel in demanding environments.

His commitment to the advancement of education is evident through his past involvement as a Member of the Board of Directors at both the Murdock-Thompson Center for Teachers and the Teachers' Defense Fund.
