William Latham
Dr. William U. Latham is the interim Vice President for Student Affairs at Stockton University, having joined in July 2024. He brings over 20 years of higher education experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Development at Virginia Union University since February 2024.13
Prior to his role at Virginia Union University, Dr. Latham served as the Chief Student Development & Success Officer at the University of the District of Columbia.12 He has also held various other leadership positions in higher education, including:
- Senior Advisor for the Gallup Education Practice in Washington, D.C.1
- Administrator and adjunct faculty member at Tennessee State University for 12 years1
- Director of the Tennessee State University Small Business Development Center1

Dr. Latham is a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. He also holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University.1
