    William Kelsey

    Mixed Signal Engineer at Apple

William Kelsey is a Mixed Signal Design Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a wealth of experience in designing and verifying Analog, Digital, and Mixed Signal IC building blocks, William has a strong background in the field.

His recent work includes designing a PMIC for IoT devices meeting ultra-low power requirements. Some key blocks in his designs involve a highly efficient Buck switching regulator, a Bandgap with incredibly low quiescent current and precise curvature, a Thermal Shutdown circuit, and Internal cap-less LDO's. Additionally, he has worked on a Dropout region detector and conducted top-level simulations using Cadence mixed signal flow.

During his tenure at Swindon Silicon, William worked on various projects such as AM demodulation, Switched Capacitor filters, CMFB Amplifier, Comparator with offset correction, and RTL design of SENT receivers. He also handled layout tasks on a 0.18um process and was involved in moving digital logic to a new process library. His responsibilities included modifying scripts for synthesis, layout, and hand-off, as well as conducting top-level simulations using VHDL models and automatic model vs schematic verification.
