William G Proud

William G Proud, a highly accomplished researcher, renowned for his expertise in Shock Physics, High Strain-Rate Experimentation, Energetic Materials, High-Speed Photography, Chemical Compatibility, Physical Properties, and Project Management. He completed his PhD/BSc in Chemistry at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He worked as a Reader in Shock Physics at Imperial College London, Head of Fracture and Shock Physics and Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, Visiting Lecturer at Universidade de São Paulo, and Research Fellow at the University of Barcelona. His vast knowledge in scientific research and project management has led him to be recognized as a leader in his field worldwide.
