William Feuerman

William (Billy) Feuerman is a designer, academic, and writer with a diverse background in architecture, visual perception, and education. He is the Director of Office Feuerman (OF), a design and research office with a presence in both Australia and the US. Before establishing OF, William gained valuable experience at renowned international architecture firms, including a significant tenure at Bernard Tschumi Architects in New York. His research focuses on architecture, visual perception, and the interplay between optics and architectural design, inspired by his own encounter with a stroke that affected his eyes' coordination. William is dedicated to exploring how visual experiences can shape and influence dynamic environments to create responsive spaces. In addition to his professional work, William has been actively involved in academia, teaching architecture at various institutions in Australia and the US. He has held roles such as Course Director for the Bachelor of Design in Architecture program at UTS and taught at esteemed universities like Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. William's educational background includes studying Architecture at Columbia University GSAPP and earning a Bachelor of Architecture at the California College of the Arts.
