William Evick

William Evick is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive in the PropTech and FinTech sectors, currently serving as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Synco, a real-time messaging platform designed for property management teams. He has over 30 years of experience in software sales, with more than two decades specifically in the PropTech industry. His company, Synco, recently secured a $5.5 million seed funding round and aims to enhance communication within property management by streamlining conversations among staff and vendors.12

Before founding Synco in February 2022, Evick was the Founder and CEO of Aptexx, Inc., a payment and SaaS platform for property management, which he led until its acquisition by Inhabit in 2018. During his tenure at Aptexx, the company processed approximately $15 billion in electronic payments annually.13

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Evick was a Fellow (ODF6) at On Deck from October 2020 to January 2021, where he contributed to the startup community by sharing his extensive knowledge and experience.12

His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in Information Technology from Antioch University-Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University.1

Evick's career also features senior roles at notable companies such as Yardi, MRI Software, Yapstone, and AppFolio, where he honed his skills in sales leadership and technology.12
