William Dunn

William Dunn is an accomplished astrophysicist with a rich background in entrepreneurship. He has a track record of launching, developing, and expanding start-up businesses, projects for multinational companies, and social initiatives. William is deeply passionate about promoting education equality and addressing diversity issues in the field of science.

In terms of research, William Dunn has held prestigious fellowships at reputable institutions such as UCL/Mullard Space Science Laboratory, the European Space Agency, and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He has an extensive publication record, with approximately 30 papers since 2020, predominantly focusing on planets and X-rays. Many of his first author publications have garnered international media attention and have achieved a median almetric score of around 400. Additionally, William has been entrusted with leading numerous hours of competitive observing time for planets on flagship NASA and ESA observatories. His scientific contributions have been recognized with awards such as the 2021 EGU Planetary and Solar System Science Outstanding Early Career Scientist Award and the 2020 Robert Boyd Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement.
