Billy Butler
Pursuing a master's degree in education – single subject teaching credential, English
William Butler is a dedicated individual currently pursuing a master's degree in education through the master's/credential teaching program at UC Santa Cruz.
With a strong background in writing and literature, William has served as the coordinator of Word Lab, an after-school writing program for grades 6–12, at the non-profit Young Writers Program.
His experience also includes working as a Shipping/Receiving Specialist at Bookshop Santa Cruz and Bay Photo.
During his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz, William excelled in leadership roles, serving as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the satirical paper Fish Rap Live, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Chinquapin Literary Magazine, and an Event Organizer for the Kinetic Poetics Project student poetry collective.
William Butler holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
