William Buchholz

William Buchholz is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in Information Design and Corporate Communication, having served as the Chairman of IDCC from 2001 to 2012 and as Chairman of the Department of English from 1995 to 2000.
His primary teaching and research areas include the World Wide Web, information design, information architecture, interface design, knowledge management, and content management. He is actively involved in researching the applications of XML, XHTML, RDF, and the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative.

He holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and currently serves as a Professor Emeritus in IDCC at Bentley University.
