Will Porteous
Will Porteous is a successful business professional with extensive experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. He is a General Partner at RRE Ventures, a technology-focused venture capital firm based in New York City. Will is also the Chairman of the Dockery Farms Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to preserve and promote the cultural significance of a historic farming community in Mississippi. He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches courses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
Will earned his Bachelor's degree in English from Stanford University and his Master's degree in Economics and Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also holds an MBA from Harvard University. Prior to RRE Ventures, Will worked as a Product Manager at SupplyWorks and as VP of Marketing and Business Development at Netmarket.
Throughout his career, Will has played an instrumental role in the growth of several successful startups, including Xobni, Skyhook Wireless, and WHIPTAIL (now part of Cisco). He has also served on the board of several companies, including Drobo, Inc. and Frictionless Commerce.
