Will Porteous

Will Porteous is a prominent figure in the venture capital and technology sectors, currently serving as a General Partner and Chief Operating Officer at RRE Ventures since 2000. His extensive experience includes board memberships for over 20 companies, notably as a director for Wave, BuzzFeed, Nanit, Paperless Post, Pattern, Pilot Fiber, Spire, and Ursa Space Systems, in addition to his role as Chairman of BlackSky's board since 2018.134

Porteous has a strong academic background, holding an M.B.A. from Harvard University, an M.S. from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. with Honors from Stanford University. He also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School from 2003 to 2018, where he taught a course on venture capital.123
