Will O'Meara
Farmer/Owner at Hungry Reaper Farm, Connecticut Field Agent at Land For Good
Will O'Meara is a co-founder and farm manager at Hungry Reaper Farm in Connecticut.2 He has been farming in New England since 2011, gaining experience at various farms including Waldingfield Farm in Washington, CT, where he served as Assistant Farm Manager from 2017-2019.2 Will holds a degree in Sustainable Food and Farming from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he also co-managed the UMass Student Farm in 2016.2
Currently, Will and his partner Jill Verzino are collaborating with Winvian Farm to supply their gourmet, farm-to-fork restaurant with fresh, locally-sourced produce.1 In addition to his work at Hungry Reaper Farm, Will is employed by an organization called Land for Good, which aims to connect young farmers with available farmland.1
Will is known for his passion for cooking elaborate and time-consuming recipes, as well as his enjoyment of live music and boxing.2
