Will Norton

Will Norton is the Founder and CEO of SimplyAgree, a company he started in 2016 that provides a signature and closing management platform for transactional attorneys.12 He has a background in both technology and law, with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Space and Telecommunications Law from the University of Nebraska College of Law.12

Before founding SimplyAgree, Norton worked as an Associate at Baker Donelson from 2009 to 2016, where he was part of the firm's Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions group, advising startups and emerging, high-tech companies.1 His experience in law and technology led him to identify opportunities to streamline processes in corporate transactions, which ultimately inspired the creation of SimplyAgree.3

SimplyAgree has gained traction in the legal tech industry, being used by Global 100, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, and boutique law firms to close transactions worth billions of dollars.4 The company aims to increase efficiency in the closing process for firms and their clients by up to 80%.4

Norton is currently based in the Baltimore area, where his wife is pursuing a medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.3 He continues to lead SimplyAgree, which has raised at least $1.6 million in outside capital as of 2019.3
