WILL BENNETT

Will Bennett is a dedicated individual who focuses on preserving, perpetuating, promoting, and integrating African-American heritage and culture in the Pacific Northwest.

He serves as a Community Practitioner, Futurist, Historian, and Urban Gardener with various projects under his belt, such as the Golden West Project and Portland Black History Project.

Will Bennett's work centers around showcasing the 375-year history of African-Americans in the U.S., emphasizing the struggles with slavery and discrimination while advocating for the preservation of their experiences through research and community engagement.

With a background in International Relations and Affairs, Will Bennett is committed to building networks and raising awareness for African-American historical districts and cultural significance in Portland and beyond.
