    Wil Focks is an experienced professional dedicated to working with young high-risk children in group 1-2 (SBO). Recently, ventured into a new challenge by joining SBO De Springplank in Harderwijk as a team leader for the kindergarten section.

    He has pursued additional education post Higher Professional Education (H.B.O) in Remedial Teaching focusing on psychomotor skills, as well as Integrative Behavior and Remedial Teaching within kindergarten education.

    Wil has participated in various recent courses including Dutch with sign language, teaching preschoolers through music, understanding highly sensitive children, and recognizing signs of domestic violence.

    For his final project in Remedial Teaching with a focus on psychomotor skills, Wil collaborated with a colleague behavior specialist to design a series of tactile cooperative games aimed at enhancing the social-emotional well-being of individual children and the entire group.

    His capstone project during the Integrative Behavior/Remedial Teaching in kindergarten education centered around Executive Functions, exploring the skills, their development, the significance of guidance and teaching these skills in early education, and the pivotal role they play in shaping a well-rounded adult. This project delved into adapting educational settings and play areas to foster these skills effectively, and the necessary organizational response in cases of delayed development or children struggling to utilize these functions.

    Wil Focks's educational background includes studying Integrative Behavior/Remedial Teaching in kindergarten education at K en P Education.

    He has a solid professional track record, having served as a group teacher for JRK and now excelling as a kindergarten team leader at SBO De Springplank.
