Wes Gibson

Wes Gibson is a versatile and highly experienced photographer and photography writer with a passion for nature, wildlife, and aviation photography. With a wide range of skills and expertise acquired over a long and distinguished career in the US Navy, as well as through his work as a photography instructor, Gibson has become a sought-after expert in his field, with a reputation for both technical excellence and creative flair. As a former Chief Photographer, Division Leading Chief and Contract Manager of the US Navy Atlantic Fleet Combat Camera, Gibson oversaw the photographic quality control of life at sea during peacetime and times of conflict. He has also designed, edited and published award-winning book projects and held the position of Photo Editor on military newspaper staffs. As a photographer, his camera system of choice is Sony, and he often carries a compliment of two cameras and six lenses when in the field. Gibson specializes in photographic process and quality control, and all of his images are processed using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
