Wes Balakian, PMP, BSP, ACP, SMC, SPM

Wes Balakian is an experienced leader with a strong background in program and project management, PMO development, strategic planning and execution, and performance management. He has led the development of an internationally recognized training, consulting, and certification organization focused on portfolio, program, and project management. Balakian has worked with military, government, nonprofit, and commercial entities to deliver consulting, training, and professional services related to project management. He is experienced in remote tools like WebEx, SharePoint, and Go-to-Meeting, and has presented to C-level executives and technical subject matter experts. Balakian's entrepreneurial work ethic allows him to thrive in any environment, and his servant leadership style enables him to garner respect from his teams.

As a Director of Program Management at Project Management and Balanced Scorecard Institute, Balakian has served on several advisory groups for Project Management Institute, including the PMI R.E.P Program Advisory Group, Component Mentor Advisory Group, and Component Mentor. He has also worked as Sr. Instructor at ESI International and Program Manager at TI, JP Morgan, and EDS.
