Weronica Green

Meet Weronica Green, an aspiring data scientist and former national team basketball player with a passion for data and technology's potential to empower people and communities. Weronica holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from City University of New York-Brooklyn College, and she's currently pursuing her Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco. Her academic journey has taken her to several academic institutions, including UC Berkeley Extension, Hawaii Pacific University, and Howard College.

Before embarking on her data science journey, Weronica gained professional experience in various fields, including government, business development, and technology startups. She worked as a Foreign Affairs Consultant at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco and as a Business Developer at EcoG, where she honed her business acumen and communication skills. She also interned at Katapult Accelerator, where she gained experience in startup acceleration and venture funding.

Currently, Weronica is a Data Science Intern at Metromile, where she is gaining hands-on experience in machine learning, graph analytics, and natural language processing. Her expertise and diverse background equip her to approach data science problems from a unique perspective and to develop innovative solutions that harness the full potential of data and technology.
