Wendy Walsh-

Dr. Wendy Walsh is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background encompassing education, community building, research, and Homeland Security/Emergency Management.

With a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Frostburg State University, a Certificate in Design, Partnering, Management & Innovation from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and extensive coursework in Information Sciences from the Naval Postgraduate School, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles.

Dr. Walsh has served in various prestigious positions, including Acting Chief Learning Officer and Talent Transformation Director at FEMA, Adjunct Professor at Mount St. Mary's University, and Higher Education Program Manager at FEMA.

Her involvement also extends to advisory roles, having been a former Advisory Board Member at the Natural Hazards Center and serving as the President of the Citizen Corps Council of Monterey County.

Dr. Walsh's expertise spans a range of areas such as Information Sharing, Design Thinking, Executive/Adult Education development & facilitation, Public Speaking, Cybersecurity Strategy, and Psychological First Aid.

She is recognized for her skills in facilitation, the Art of Hosting, and possesses certification in Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Her passion for education and her community is evident through her work as an educator and connector, where she engages in storytelling and fosters a culture of curiosity and creativity.
