Wendy Shin is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations with a focus on French as a Second Language at the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College. Wendy also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Bayview Secondary School and a Doctor of Law - JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Throughout her career, Wendy has gained valuable experience through various roles in different organizations. She worked as a Summer Associate at Levitt LLP Employment & Labour Law and Kim & Chang. Additionally, she served as a Policy Advisor and Workforce Planner at the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat and the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General respectively. Wendy has also held positions such as Human Resources Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, Research Assistant at the Centre for Industrial Relations & Human Resources at the University of Toronto, and Project Assistant at the University of Toronto, St. Michael's College. She also contributed as an R2P Live Analyst at the Canadian Centre for Responsibility to Protect (CCR2P) and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. Moreover, Wendy demonstrated leadership as the Bayview S.S. Chapter Leader at The Students' 'Everything' Seminar.
