Dr. Wendy Schultz is a highly experienced futurist with a background in academia spanning over three decades. She excels in designing and conducting futures research projects for various organizations, including NGOs, governmental agencies, and businesses. Dr. Schultz recently completed global and regional scenarios focusing on research and innovation in the post-COVID era. She specializes in facilitating participatory futures workshops, both online and face-to-face, known for their creativity and provocation.
Dr. Schultz is actively involved in teaching futures studies at the University of Houston as part of the Masters Program in Strategic Foresight. She holds senior fellowships in prestigious organizations such as the Center for Post-Normal Policy and Futures Studies and the Geneva Center for Security Policy. Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Professional Futurists and the World Futures Studies Federation.
Her expertise lies in horizon scanning, impact analysis, scenario development, visioning, training, and facilitation. Dr. Schultz's educational background includes a PhD in Alternative Futures from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, an MA in Alternative Futures from the same institution, and a BA in Philosophy, Technology, and Social Change from Michigan State University.
