Wendy Gower

Wendy Gower is the founder of WeGrow, a consultancy that specializes in training, coaching, and mentoring within the communications industry. She launched WeGrow in 2023 to address a market need for enhanced performance and capability in businesses, particularly in the media sector. Gower's mission with WeGrow is to help organizations unlock their competitive edge by focusing on cultural and commercial growth through their people, ultimately aiming to make individuals within these businesses happier, more confident, and effective.12

With over 15 years of experience in agency leadership, Gower has held significant roles in large global media agencies across cities like London, Sydney, and Melbourne. Her background includes working closely with leading brands and gaining insights into the challenges of the industry, particularly during her time as Client Marketing Director at an out-of-home media company. Gower is also a strong advocate for women in the communications field, actively participating in initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality.13

In addition to her work at WeGrow, Gower is involved in the "Female Leaders of Tomorrow" mentoring program, which is designed to support emerging female leaders in the media industry. She facilitates this program on behalf of the Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA), aiming to provide valuable guidance and networking opportunities for participants.23
