Wendy Alfaro is a driven and passionate individual with a diverse background in research. With a Master's degree in Human Nutrition for Health Promotion from the Universidad de Costa Rica, as well as a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology, Alfaro has conducted research for numerous international and national organizations in energy efficiency, sustainable development, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Alfaro is particularly interested in climate change and its impact on health and lifestyle changes, nutrition, and food product development. She has worked as a consultant for various organizations such as CATIE, INCAE Business School, and The Humane Society of the United States. Her expertise in LEDS (Low Emission Development Strategies), organic and Fair Trade products, as well as specific market studies in Latin America make her a valuable asset to any team.
