Wendelin C. Donahue, Ed.D

Wendelin Donahue is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in student services, program/project coordination, and career/academic advising.

Currently, Wendelin serves as the Associate Director for Employer Relations at Southern Methodist University (SMU), overseeing a wide range of responsibilities such as supporting student leadership programming, coordinating job fairs, developing Career Center learning objectives, and fostering partnerships with faculty and employers to facilitate internship and employment opportunities for students and alumni.

With over a decade of experience as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) director and instructor, Wendelin has focused on providing students access to college and career pathways through experiential learning. She spearheaded the development of an advisory board with business and community partners to help students gain relevant work experience both pre- and post-graduation.

Wendelin's key strengths lie in her ability to inspire and motivate students, foster a collaborative environment that engages all stakeholders, and build cohesive teams to achieve and surpass goals.

Apart from her professional roles, Wendelin is actively involved in community organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Mentoring Our Students through Experience (MOSTE), and Extra-Ordinary Birthdays.

In terms of education, Wendelin holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College.
