Weichao's journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he achieved a remarkable GPA of 3.98. His strong undergraduate foundation in biological sciences paved the way for his continued studies at Northwestern University, where he earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biotechnology, maintaining an impressive GPA of 3.966.
