Wei Zhou

Wei Zhou is a prominent venture capitalist and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Partner at Fz Global Partners. He has a distinguished career in the technology and investment sectors, particularly in China.

Career Background

Wei Zhou began his career in the 1990s, where he was instrumental in developing China's first payment software and hardware. He later played a significant role in taking a payment technology company public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1996. Following this, he founded a company focused on wireless payment technology, which experienced rapid growth before being acquired.

In 2007, he joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) as a founding member and Managing Partner of its China office, where he led investments in various technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) companies. His investment strategy has resulted in numerous successful ventures, with several companies achieving unicorn status under his guidance.

In 2017, Wei Zhou founded China Creation Ventures (CCV), focusing on early and growth-stage investments in sectors such as enterprise solutions, digital healthcare, and advanced technologies.
