Wei Tian is a seasoned professional with a diverse background, boasting over 14 years of expertise in power system research and 3 years in software development within the financial sector.

As an IEEE Senior Member since 2015 and a Certified System Analyst, Wei Tian has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and continuous learning in the field of engineering.

Wei Tian's primary areas of specialization include the application of optimization algorithms for ensuring the secure and economically efficient operation of power systems, congestion analysis, transmission expansion planning, renewable energy integration, and microgrid studies.

With a strong foundation in large-scale system and data calculation, Wei Tian has worked on notable projects such as the Eastern Interconnection of the U.S.A power system and managing extensive financial data for China Construction Bank Shaanxi Branch.

Moreover, Wei Tian is proficient in developing and deploying solutions using OSIsoft PI System for smart grid functionalities, as well as in user interface design and development, particularly leveraging geographic information systems (GIS) for Power Generation and Transmission Services.
