Wei Li

Dr. Wei Li, the VP/GM of AI Software Engineering at Intel, is leading a team dedicated to revolutionizing the AI landscape by driving innovation in AI model, software, and hardware.

With a Ph.D. in supercomputers from Cornell University, Wei Li is a respected figure in the tech industry and academia, often presenting at prestigious events and universities like Stanford and Harvard.

During his tenure at Intel spanning over 20 years, he has been at the forefront of software/hardware advancements, contributing significantly to Intel's evolution across various domains from PCs to AI, resulting in multi-billion-dollar revenue growth in AI.

Wei Li is deeply involved in the AI ecosystem, collaborating with key players like PyTorch/Meta, TensorFlow/Google, and Hugging Face, while also championing open-source initiatives through his board memberships at the PyTorch Foundation and Linux Foundation AI&Data.

He has also made substantial contributions to academic and research communities, serving on editorial boards and funding parallel computing research centers at renowned universities.
