Wanda Moreland
Wanda Moreland is a proficient executive with over 20 years of management experience in the public and private sector, including 14 years of local government experience. She has a demonstrated track record of improving efficiency by evaluating and implementing policies and procedures. Moreland has expertise in process improvement, budget development, project management, leadership development, and strategic planning, among others. Moreland has received numerous accolades for her leadership roles, including being commended by the City Auditor to the City Council for a finding free audit of performance measures for Dallas Fire-Rescue, implementing a women in local government professional development series for the City of Dallas and North Texas Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, and increasing employee engagement by chairing the City-wide employee recognition program.
Moreland studied Public Administration, Psychology, and Nonprofit Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She currently works as an Assistant Director at the City of Dallas.
