Wael Darwich

Wael Darwich is a professional in the field of Civil and Structural Engineering with a strong passion for innovation and creativity.

With a diverse educational background including a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from prestigious institutions like The University of Sheffield and Damascus University, Wael has a solid foundation in his field.

Throughout his career, Wael has held various roles in prominent organizations, showcasing his expertise and experience in software development and engineering.

Currently, Wael serves as the Software Development Manager at CPP Team, leading a team towards the next generation of simulations focused on innovation and automation.

His previous roles include being a Senior Software Engineer at LUSAS infrastructure design software, a Senior Software Developer at MachineWorks Ltd, and a Consultant at Mobica, among others.

Wael has also ventured into lecturing as a former Lecturer at YPU and held managerial positions such as Design Manager at Eltel Middle East and Managing Director at MasahTec.

Furthermore, he co-founded LimitState Ltd where he served as the Chief Software Architect and played a key role as a Principal Software Developer.

Having started his career as a Graduate Engineer at BuroHappold Engineering, Wael's journey is marked by a consistent drive for pushing the boundaries of engineering through technology and innovation.
