Currently, he serves as the Senior Vice President of Technology, Underwriting & Engineering at Echelon Energy, where he brings expertise and leadership to the organization's technological and underwriting initiatives.

Prior to his current position, Goodrum held various important roles at NORESCO, a prominent name in the energy efficiency industry. He served as the Manager of Performance Engineering, Senior Energy Engineer, Team Leader, Energy Engineer II, and Energy Engineer during his tenure at NORESCO, showcasing his progression and contributions to the company's success.

Before his time at NORESCO, Goodrum worked as a BWR Fuels Engineer at Entergy, gaining valuable experience in the nuclear energy sector.
