The SAP Sales Academy affords the unique opportunity to participate in a challenging 9 month developmental program to become the future sales leaders in software and technology. From over 40,000 applicants, 96 people were selected from over 30 countries to join the SAP Sales Academy.

As an Associate Account Executive, I partner with our customers to identify the right solution to their toughest challenges and help transform the way they run their business.

The program is divided into 2 parts: 3 months [September, January, and April] of classroom training in Dublin, CA and three 8 week field rotations in Johannesburg, South Africa working in the Industrial Components & Manufacturing Industry.

Associate Account Executive

Business Development: 
- Assist in new business category research and outreach process 
- Research potential targets and industry trends and develop company fact sheets for meeting 
preparation 
- Research key companies and track properties in which they are currently involved 
- Communicate with the NBA New York and London offices to retrieve the most up-to-date research information for international markets 
- Assist in creating and updating sales materials 
- Prepare outreach to key categories/companies [e.g. letters, research contact information] 
 
Partnerships: 
- Monitor and manage marketing partners’ contractual benefits [including event sponsorship, 
promotional obligation, and media advertising]
- Assist with marketing partner activation 
- Communicate with NBA NY and London Offices for best practices and resources in the execution 
of local marketing programs 
- Assist with preparing presentation materials for marketing partners and internal meetings 
- Assist with sponsorship valuation and ROI assessment 
- Various departmental duties as required
