Lead, Mass Market and Prepaid Proposition at Vodafone

Responsible for prepaid & mass market postpaid propositions that satisfy customer insights profitably. This role involves delivering results through a team and developing their skills and competencies.I am owner of marketing initiatives from customer insight through research, customer journey design, pricing proposals, financial evaluation, alignment with stakeholders, approval, launch & review.My work philosophy is to make everyone part of the creative process and involve people of different departments to give feedback, however as owner I am comfortable making choices and trade offs. I believe that once a proposition is launched, it should be part of a continuous process of review and improvement. Manager, Prepaid Marketing

In my role as segment manager I am responsible for the success of the prepaid segment (measured in terms of customers, revenue, margin, brand consideration and NPS). In my role I heavily contributed to the strategic marketing direction and engaged with relevant stakeholders (including senior Group Leadership), to obtain the necessary buy-ins and approvals. As such, I am one of the principal content contributors to the strategic program that connects the value initiatives to brand consideration, across consumer segments. I was also the end-to-end owner of multiple initiatives:•	Successfully delivered investment intensive commercial initiatives (2m+ EUR) following red line marketing model, centered on customer insight •	Built the commercial proposition & pricing strategy (starting from market research and customer usage patterns)•	Created high level designs for propositions (customer journey, technical requirements, financial impact, legal impact and communication brief)•	Created a blue print for roaming and international management commercial offers and costsOne of the achievements close to my heart in this role is the mentoring of peers and the direct managing of my team members, from recruiting to development, growth and promotion.

SEGMENT Manager – Prepaid

My role was to evaluate the wholesale strategy, pricing approach and also the technical implementation of the wholesale access to the Vodafone mobile network. This was the first time when Vodafone in Romania was considering wholesale for mobile and I feel very proud that I was able to lead the cross-functional team across the finish line while facing challenging deadlines and other difficulties. I was in charge of leading conversations with potential clients, developed the contracts and also managed the relationship for the national roaming agreement that was signed as a result of this effort. In parallel, I also acted as strategy specialist and supported the strategy team by re-designing the mobile-fixed market model, mapping fixed footprints and RGU coverage of operators in Romania. I also identified the drivers and detractors of growth for the main fixed players and predicted their customer and revenue evolution. During this period I actively participated in the high level valuation of assets.

Wholesale Manager and acting strategy specialist

In my capacity as Business Manager I acted as de facto Segment and planning Manager for the CCO. My key responsibility was to set the basis for monitoring and evaluating the regional performance of the Enterprise Business unit (setting up scorecards, tracking relevant projects at regional level). I also supported the LRP process and built the detailed budget for the entire business unit, including alignment with all relevant stakeholders. In this role I was also involved in segmentation, driving the re-design of the Business customer segmentation and participating in the re-balancing of commissions to support delivery of the sales targets.

Business Manager to the Enterprise Business Unit Director (Chief Commercial Officer)

I was a member of a small team that designed the deployment of fiber for large enterprise customers. This was a slightly atypical role for a Finance team, as we had very strong commercial involvement. In addition, I acted as business partner and supported the making of key business decisions and signing of strategic partnerships with main enterprise customers. I contributed with crisp and comprehensive analyses as well as recommendations for the decisions that needed to be made.
