Vivek Boray

Vivek Boray is a seasoned startup lawyer, advisor, and mentor with over 15 years of experience in Silicon Valley and New York. He has advised and mentored teams from all over the world, from small startups to multinational corporations. Vivek has a particular passion for helping companies expand globally and has worked with several leading incubator and accelerator programs such as Techstars and 500 Startups.

After beginning his career with the top tech law firm in the world, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Vivek went on to work with several other global firms, including Norton Rose Fulbright and Bracewell, before launching his own law firm. Today, Vivek is the General Counsel at Locus, a state-of-the-art delivery automation platform that uses advanced algorithms to automate logistics for on-demand businesses and provide a better end-customer experience.

Vivek's education includes an LL.M. in Law from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies, a Doctor of Law - JD, Law, Cum Laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and a B.A. in History, Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to his work as General Counsel at Locus, Vivek has served as a member of various boards of directors, including the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) and the American Friends of SOAS. He has also been a resident DJ and advisor for business affairs at boxout.fm and a founder/partner at De Franceschi & Associates.
