Vittorio Murino is a full professor at the University of Verona in the Department of Computer Science, located in Verona, Italy. He has a distinguished academic background and extensive experience in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning. Murino previously served as the director of the Pattern Analysis & Computer Vision (PAVIS) facility at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) from 2009 to 2019 and worked as a Senior Video Intelligence Expert at Huawei's Ireland Research Centre from 2019 to 2021.
