Vitor Pacheco

Vitor Pacheco is an Electrical Engineer with expertise in project management and holds a PMP certification. He specializes in the distributed generation market, particularly in photovoltaic plants.

With over a decade of experience, Vitor has been involved in the development of more than 300 photovoltaic plants, totaling around 300.0MWp in operation or under development. His focus lies in technical, regulatory, and financial feasibility analysis for distributed generation projects, as well as owner's engineering activities.

Vitor has a strong background in various types of photovoltaic plants, including rooftops, car-parking lots, tilt-fixed plants, one-axis tracking systems, and floating plants. He has also worked on different business models for distributed generation, such as generation at the point of consumption, condominiums of distributed generation, remote self-consumption, and shared generation.

In his career, Vitor has excelled both as a project manager and as a PMO leader. He has a track record of successful project management, ensuring continuous process improvement for optimal project outcomes. Vitor has also been involved in providing project feasibility analysis and training in the field of owner's engineering.

Vitor Pacheco holds dual nationality (Brazil - Portugal) and has pursued education, including an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electric Power Systems, from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.

Throughout his career, Vitor has been associated with various organizations, including VGP Consultoria where he focused on owner's engineering, project feasibility analysis, and training. Previously, he served as a PMO leader at Alsol Energias Renováveis, an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at the same organization, and as a Branch General Manager at Brasvending S.A. Vitor also co-founded Otimiza - Desempenho & Soluções, where he worked as a Partner and electrical engineer.
