Vishy Poosala's technical knowledge spans Databases, Software Systems, and Applications, with an impressive track record of 37 patents and 30+ technical publications.

He holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science (Databases) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Throughout his career, Vishy has held key positions in renowned organizations, including Director at Facebook, CTO - Subscriber Data Management & Messaging at Alcatel-Lucent, Mentor Partner at HeadStart Ventures LLP, Head of Bell Labs - India at Alcatel-Lucent, and Founder & CTO of Geopepper.com, an Alcatel Lucent Venture on LBS.

He has also served as the Chief Volunteer Geek at Net Synergetics, Technical Manager at Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent, Visiting Professor at New York University, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent. Additionally, Vishy Poosala gained industry experience as a Summer Intern working on the DB2 Query Optimizer at IBM.
