Vishva Somaya

Vishva Somaya is a co-founder of Pristeem, a company that is no longer operating.13 He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.1 After graduation, Vishva worked as a repair process engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where he oversaw the inspection and repair of airplane engine components and used lean manufacturing techniques to optimize repair processes.15

At Pristeem, Vishva served as a co-founder from January 2019 to March 2022, spearheading product vision from ideation to launch.3 He led the product vision, hired and managed a team of engineers, and reduced BOM (Bill of Materials) cost by 50%.4

Currently, Vishva Somaya works as the US Operations Manager at Factored Quality.2 His experience includes designing and performing experiments to test fluid velocity around blunt bodies5, demonstrating his technical expertise in his field of study.
