Vishal Goenka

Vishal Goenka is a seasoned professional with a robust background in software development and product management, specializing in a wide array of programming languages and technologies including Java, C/C++, Shell, AWK, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, TCP/IP, Networking, Network Security, Application Security, Databases (MySQL, Postgres), LDAP (OpenLDAP, Sun), WebServer (Apache), ORM (Hibernate), Linux, Unix, Windows, and Mac.

Academically, Vishal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and has also received education from Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram.

Throughout his career, Vishal has held significant roles in various organizations, including being the Founder and CEO of 2Sigma School, Chief Dreamer in a self-employed capacity, and serving as a Product Manager at different levels at Google. Additionally, he has taken part in leadership programs like Startup Leadership Program as Fellow in Silicon Valley 2012.

Prior to his time at Google, Vishal Goenka held key positions at Teracent (later acquired by Google) as the Chief Architect & Engineering Manager, contributed to SunGard Higher Education (which was later acquired by Ellucian) as an Advisory Architect, and played roles in technical architecture at SunGard SCT and Campus Pipeline. He also gained valuable experience as a Software Security Engineer at Campus Pipeline and as a Software Engineer at Novell.
