Vishak Ganesh

Vishak Ganesh is an accomplished Patent Attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law.

He specializes in assisting businesses in identifying, protecting, and enhancing the value of their intangible assets.

Vishak's expertise includes conducting intellectual property due diligence, patentability searches, and drafting and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, User Interfaces, User Experience, Telecommunications, and Document Management Systems.

Prior to his current role at SBMC Intellectual Property Law, Vishak served as a Judicial Law clerk for a Magistrate Court Judge in the Eastern District of Texas and a District Court Judge in the Northern District of California. In these roles, he engaged in extensive legal research, drafted orders and opinions, and managed case conferences effectively.

Furthermore, Vishak has also contributed his skills as a Patent Examiner in the Telecommunications Art Unit of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In this capacity, he evaluated patent claims, conducted in-depth analysis of case law, and researched existing technologies to determine patentable subject matter.

Licensed to practice in Washington DC, New Jersey, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Vishak holds a solid educational background. He pursued JD with a focus on Intellectual Property Law at Georgia State University College of Law and engaged as a Visiting Student at The George Washington University Law School. Besides, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
