Virginia Blake

Virginia Blake is a seasoned Contract Manager with a diverse professional background spanning various industries and roles.

Currently serving at Accenture, she supports the sales efforts in the Products operating group by negotiating complex global contracts for clients.

Prior to her role as Contract Manager, Virginia excelled as a Contract Services Lead within Accenture's Procurement division, specializing in negotiating agreements for marketing services, logistics, information security, software, and unique arrangements like the purchase of genetically altered lab rats for a pharmaceutical company.

Before joining Accenture, Virginia accumulated nearly two decades of experience in sourcing, contracting, and managing marketing service providers for leading credit card issuers in the financial sector.

Her early career involved significant roles in government, where she managed financial aspects for Delaware Governors Pete du Pont and Michael N. Castle, including overseeing accounts payable, financial reporting, and grant funding accounting and reconciliation.

Virginia also played a pivotal role in coordinating President George H.W. Bush's visits to Delaware as part of the advance team during her time in government service.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Delaware's Lerner College of Business and Economics.
