Vinith Suriyakumar

Vinith Suriyakumar is an accomplished computer scientist with a strong educational background and a diverse range of experiences in many organizations. He earned his Bachelor of Computing Honours degree in Biomedical Computing from Queen's University and completed his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Currently, he works as a Graduate Student at the Vector Institute.

Previously, he worked at The Hospital for Sick Children as a graduate student and research intern. He also contributed to Dropout Labs as a TF Encrypted Contributor and to Queen's University as a machine learning researcher. He has also worked as a Data Science intern at Square and as an Agile Engineering intern at Helpful.com.

Aside from his work, Vinith has experience as a Chair and Co-Chair in several conferences, including QHacks and the Canadian University Software Engineering Conference. He was also a Vice-President of Operations at Queen's COMPSA and has experience as a computer science tutor.
